Profile

I have more than 25 years of research experience focused on the development of computational and statistical methods for the analysis and integration of genomic and biomedical data. I have contributed to advancing bioinformatics methodologies for functional genomics, multi-omics integration with applications in autoimmunity, cancer, and other complex diseases. I have led regional, national, and international research projects in biomedical data science with a scientific output that includes more than 70 peer-reviewed publications in JCR and over 5,000 citations.
